Rest + Retreat

November 10th-13th, 2022

You’re invited to join us for a special weekend of connection, nature, and rest.

Join us for a grounding weekend retreat in the high desert of New Mexico. Bounded by the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains, Taos is known for its sacred land and spirited community that both invigorates and soothes the soul. The surrounding environment is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with nature’s rhythms. Ease into the feeling of being deeply rooted as we transition into the season of rest and digest.

ABOUT THE INN

This retreat is hosted at an artisan “inn” just five minutes from the historic Taos Plaza, in a quiet, pastoral, farmland setting. The private adobe casitas offer an oasis of home and renewal for visitors. The inn is the perfect base for exploring the Taos area, and it’s also the perfect place to stay put and slow down. The casitas are spacious, colorful and artful: each casita is decorated and appointed with hand-crafted furnishings, local art, antiques, and textiles from New Mexico, Old Mexico and the world over. Look out the windows and there’s Taos Mountain. Step outside and take in one of the clearest night skies you’ll ever see. Hear the wild call of the coyotes that regularly prowl the valley. Stay in for the night and cozy up to your wood burning kiva-fireplace or wood-burning stove.

What to Expect

You can make this retreat as rejuvenating or as adventurous as you would like. The artisan town of Taos is filled with things to do for art lovers, nature lovers and more! Explore museums and art galleries in town, hike into the woods, and even visit Ojo Caliente, a renowned natural hot spring ~50 minutes away. November in Taos is a transition season; expect temps to be chilly!

How To Get There

Taos is a 4 and a ½ hour drive from Breckenridge. You can also fly into the regional airport in Taos (SKX) and either rent a car, or Uber to the inn. For more reasonable flights, you can also fly into Albuquerque (ABQ) and rent a car to drive roughly 2 and a ½ hours to the inn. Parking at the inn is included.

She loves adventure and has always been a free and curious spirit. Traveling to different parts of the world has always been a potent medicine for her. Katie is very excited to connect on retreat on the special land of Taos, New Mexico. Taos holds a sacred energy for many reasons. Taos’s spirit is influenced by the native Pueblo people. Surrounded by the majestic Sangre De Cristo mountains, its full of southwest soul and natural wonders.

All of this to say, this magical land will provide us with a potent opportunity to immerse deeply into retreat for our minds, bodies and souls!
